Honda hikes prices of select models

Prices have been revised by roughly Rs 1,500 across different models and variants. The Activa 6G now starts at Rs 65,419 and the SP125 at Rs 74,407

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has silently updated the price list of select models in its product portfolio on its official website. The Activa 6G was launched in November last year at Rs 63,912 and Rs 65,412 for the standard and the deluxe variants respectively. It is now priced at Rs 65,419 and Rs 66,919. Similarly, prices of the Activa 125 too have been revised, and it now ranges between Rs 68,997 and Rs 75,997. Honda introduced the updated BS6 Dio in February at Rs 59,990 for the standard version and Rs 63,340 for th dlx trim. The Dio is now priced at Rs 61,497 and Rs 64,847.

It isn't just the scooter range, select motorcycles from Honda have also experienced a hike in prices. The Unicorn is now priced at Rs 94,548 - a hike of just over Rs 950.

The biggest surprise, however, is the pricing of the SP125. Honda launched the motorcycle in November at a starting price of Rs 72,900. The Japanese brand had revised its prices a few months back in April. At the time, th SP125 demanded a base price of Rs 73,452. Now, the SP125 is priced at Rs. 74,407 for the standard variant and Rs 78,607 for the disc brake version. All prices ex-showroom.
