Honda’s cafe racer, called the Hawk 11 will be revealed to the world at the Osaka Motorcycle Show. However, ahead of an official reveal, Honda has released a teaser image of the Hawk 11.
Honda has teased an all-new cafe racer on its social network handle. The motorcycle is said to be the Hawk 11 which will borrow its powertrain from the popular Africa Twin. Despite sourcing the engine from an ADV, the Hawk 11 will have a more sporty nature to complement its cafe racing attributes.
The rider’s triangle will be mildly aggressive too. The motorcycle is likely to feature clip-on handlebars and raiser, rear-set footpegs. The seat, however, could be a single piece unit. As seen in the teaser image, the Hawk 11 will feature a semi-faired design which will be an extension of the headlamp cowl. The styling will be mostly based on Honda Neo Cafe design philosophy. A similar styling element which is observed on the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR.
As mentioned earlier, the Hawak 11 will get the same 1,100cc parallel-twin engine which is offered with the Africa Twin, CMX1100 Rebel and NT1100. So far there is no clarity on the power output but we suspect the number will be at par for the course.
The motorcycle will be revealed to the world at the Osaka Motorcycle Show, 2022, which has been scheduled for March 19-21.
