HMSI has issued a recall for select CB300R motorcycles produced between 2018 and 2020, citing a possible defect in the headlight assembly. The fault lies within the printed circuit board (PCB) inside the unit, where extended use could lead to wire fatigue and eventual breakage at terminal points. This may cause the headlight to flicker or shut off entirely, creating a safety risk, particularly during nighttime or poor visibility conditions. The company has not specified the number of units affected. Beginning September, HMSI will replace the faulty headlight units free of charge, regardless of warranty coverage. Owners can check their recall status by entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Honda BigWing website. Honda also encourages customers to pre-book service appointments at BigWing dealerships for a smoother replacement experience.
