Honda has filed a patent application in India for the Beat, which is already offered in a few foreign countries, such as Thailand and Indonesia. While exact details are currently unknown, the patent design illustration hints that the scooter will be similar to its international counterpart. The Beat has a more athletic appearance and large 14-inch wheels, which set it apart from other Indian scooters. It features a unique headlamp design, a single-piece seat, sharp body panels, and a traditional floorboard. Given the Beat is positioned as a high-end scooter internationally, it gets distinctive features such as an anti-theft alarm, and keyless ignition.
