Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the updated version of the 6G Activa, the Activa H-Smart for the Indian market. The all-new Activa will be available in three variants-Smart, Standard, and Deluxe. The price for the Smart variant is Rs 80,537, whereas the Standard and the Deluxe variants cost Rs 74,536 and Rs 77,036, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Honda Activa H-Smart, as it has been dubbed, is a 'smart' version of the Activa 6G scooter. A new anti-theft system is one of many features included in the Honda Activa Smart, which is the top-of-the-line Activa 6G model. It ought to be a more affordable variation of the Honda Ignition Security System (HISS), which we get to see on Honda's high-end BigWing motorcycles. According to the automaker, the new Activa H-Smart will start arriving at the dealerships by the end of this month.
By using electronic control, the HISS essentially prevents the engine from starting. It begins to function as soon as you take your key out of the ignition to deter theft. The Honda Activa Smart will be the first of many product offerings from the Japanese bikemaker to feature this piece of safety technology. The Honda CB300F and the H'ness CB350, two of BigWing India's higher-end products, may even receive this technology.

Mechanically speaking, the 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, FI engine will be the same across all the Activa 6G variations. However, the Honda Activa H-Smart produces 7.73bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm, just a little bit more than the other variants' 7.68bhp at the same speed. The rest of the specifications remain the same. The Activa 6G currently has a starting price of Rs 73,359 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Another thing to note is that the Activa H-Smart's gross vehicle weight is 279 kg, which is 1 kg less than other Activa 6G variants. It is believed to be due to the incorporation of new technology and the removal of upgraded components. This also means that the scooter's kerb weight has increased to 105 kg.
