Honda's first electric scooter – believed to be the Activa Electric – will debut on November 27. While previous teasers have confirmed two instrument consoles and riding modes, among other things, the latest teaser video reveals that the upcoming electric scooter will be equipped with two removable batteries – dubbed Honda Mobile Power Pack e: (MPP) – placed under the seat. The technical specifications are under wraps, but it is known that MPP offers a capacity of 1.3kWh, similar to the CUV e: showcased at EICMA 2024. This means that the Activa Electric will come with a combined 2.6kWh capacity. The CUV e: claims a combined range of over 70km, but the earlier teaser for the Activa Electric says otherwise – 104km in Standard mode. Speaking of, the scooter will get two riding modes (Standard and Sport), in addition to a reverse mode.

The new teaser also suggests that the scooter will have little to no boot space, courtesy of the removable batteries. However, riders will be able to use a small cubby area for storing some knick-knacks. Rumour has it that the electrified Activa will offer performance equivalent to the 110cc Activa, currently the best-selling scooter in the ICE space. The second teaser, released in mid-November, reveals a swingarm-mounted motor similar to the CUV e: scooter.
