At the launch event, the company hinted at its upcoming EV lineup and now it is expected that the firm might launch its first electric scooter by 2024. The new electric scooter is highly anticipated to be the electric variant of the Honda Activa. According to the company, the upcoming EV will have a fixed battery and could offer a maximum driving range of 50 Kilometre. It has also been revealed that apart from the anticipated Activa EV version, the firm might also bring another electric scooter, which will have a brand-new platform. The second anticipated model by the company is likely to boast a swappable battery setup.

Coming to the Activa Electric Version, the appearance of the model is expected to be the same as the petrol-powered model. The range of the Activa Electric will probably be lesser as compared to the vehicles like the Hero Vida V1 Pro, which has a certified range of 165 Kilometre. With plans to introduce its EV lineup, the company will open 6000 battery-swapping stations at the majority of its consumer touchpoints in the nation. By doing so, Honda will reduce future issues for its expected EV with a swappable-battery setup in India.
