Hero MotoCorp will soon launch a special edition of the Xtreme 160R in India. The manufacturer is also gearing up to introduce the updated version of the 110cc scooter, the Pleasure.
Hero MotoCorp has teased a new – Stealth – edition of the Xtreme 160R on its social network handles. The new Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition is likely to be on sale for a limited period, hence the Hero MotoCorp is likely to make limited units of the same.
The new Stealth Edition will sport a matte black colour scheme. Similar to the theme, the seat will likely be finished with dark fabric material. This new edition will sport changes that will be skin deep. The mechanicals and cycle parts will be the same as the standard Xtreme 160R.
The engine will be the same 163cc single-cylinder unit. This air-cooled motor will push out 15bhp at 8,500rpm and 14Nm at 6,500rpm. The gearbox will be a five-speed unit. The suspension and braking hardware will be the same as the standard motorcycle.
The Hero Xtreme 160R has been priced between Rs 1.11 lakh and Rs 1.16 lakh (ex-showroom). This new Stealth Edition is likely to demand a premium of Rs 3,000 over the cost of the standard Xtreme 160R.
We suspect, Hero MotoCorp will launch the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition alongside the upcoming Pleasure Xtec. The Pleasure equipped with modern features and styling updates will break cover soon.
