Hero MotoCorp has been developing a number of bikes that will be available in the Indian market in the near future. As of now, the bikemaker has officially launched the Xtreme 160R 4V, an updated version of their famous sub-200cc roadster in the country. The all-new bike is available in three variants: Standard, Pro, and Connected. The Standard variant has a price tag of Rs 1.27 lakh, while the Connected and Pro variants cost Rs 1.33 lakh and Rs 1.36 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. The bookings are set to commence on June 15, followed by the deliveries in the second week of July. For enhanced efficiency, the updated version has a four-valve configuration. It is distinguished by a few design tweaks such as a revised front and distinctive alloy wheels. Some other noticeable modifications are upside-down front forks and disc brakes. Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Performance
The new Xtreme 160R 4V keeps its dynamic 163cc air-cooled engine, which produces an impressive 16.6bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm as well as a peak torque of 14Nm at 6,500rpm. The four-valve setup, which replaces the current two-valve configuration, marks an important boost. The bike's top-end performance is anticipated to increase as a result of this improvement, providing a thrilling ride on wide highways.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Features
Three colour shades are offered for the Xtreme 160R 4V: Matte Slate Black, Neon Night Star, and Blazing Sports Red. A revamped digital instrument cluster ups the premiumness of the features. According to Hero MotoCorp, the motorbike has over 25 telematics functions. The firm claims the bike has Hero Connect 2.0 with features that are best in class. Along with the motorcycle, Hero MotoCorp is also selling a variety of accessories.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Design
The updated Xtreme 160R 4V maintains the same svelte and athletic appearance in terms of design. Hero MotoCorp had earlier shared teaser pictures that gave viewers a sneak peek at the motorbike while also highlighting some of its unique design features. The bike gets updated graphics in new colour schemes, a new headlamp, and a fuel tank as part of the revisions.
Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Hardware
The new upside-down front forks, which take the place of the standard telescopic ones present in the current model, are one of the most significant improvements to the 2023 Xtreme 160R 4V. The motorcycle's handling, stability, and comfort are claimed to be improved with the suspension update. The preload-adjustable mono-shock suspension is still being used for the rear suspension. The motorbike also includes disc brakes on each of its wheels, providing effective and dependable stopping power.

Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Competition Check
In terms of pricing, the newly launched Hero Xtreme 160R 4V falls in the price bracket of Rs 1.27 lakh and Rs 1.36 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. In the Indian market, the updated Xtreme 160R will compete intensely against prominent rivals such as the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
