Hero Vida V2 Launched in India at Rs 96,000; Available In Three Variants

The Vida V2 series offers three variants with varying battery capacities. The top-of-the-line V2 Pro boasts a 3.94 kWh battery, while the V2 Plus comes with a 3.44 kWh unit. The entry-level V2 Lite is equipped with a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack.

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Vida V2 electric scooter series in India, offering three variants: V2 Lite at Rs 96,000, V2 Plus at Rs 1.15 lakh, and V2 Pro at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Each model features a removable battery pack, keyless entry, cruise control, regenerative braking, customisable riding modes, and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display. The Vida V2 scooters come with a 5-year or 50,000km warranty and a battery warranty of 3 years or 30,000km. Hero MotoCorp has also established over 3,100 fast-charging points across 250+ cities to support users. The scooters aim to meet diverse needs in the growing electric vehicle market and are now available for purchase at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across India.

The Hero Vida V2 will compete against TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak, making it a strong contender in the growing EV segment.

Hero Vida V2: Variants Explained

The Vida V2 Lite is the entry-level variant in Hero’s new electric scooter lineup. It features a 2.2 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed IDC range of 94km on a single charge. With a top speed of 69km/h, it offers two riding modes: Ride and Eco. The removable battery charges from 0-80% in about six hours.

The Vida V2 Plus steps up with a 3.44 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive IDC range of 143 km. It reaches a top speed of 85 km/h and includes three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport, making it a versatile choice for urban commuters.

The top-tier Vida V2 Pro packs a powerful 3.94 kWh battery, providing a best-in-class IDC range of 165 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. It comes with four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom, catering to different riding preferences. The V2 Pro also features a swingarm-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering 6 kW of power and 25 Nm of torque, ensuring smooth and responsive performance.

All three models share a similar design, inspired by the previous Vida V1 range, but now come in two new stylish colours: Matt Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red.
