With 2023 winding down, Hero MotoCorp is offering various benefits on its first electric two-wheeler under the Vida brand, dubbed the V1. These include a cash discount, an exchange bonus, a loyalty discount, a corporate offer, lower interest rates and EMIs starting as low as Rs 2,429, a 0 per cent processing fee on loans, a subscription plan, free extended battery warranty coverage, etc. Note that these offers and benefits are valid till December 31, 2023, or until stocks last.
Hero Vida V1: Offers and Benefits
As part of year-end offers, buyers can get a range of benefits worth up to Rs 31,000, including a cash discount of Rs 6,500, an exchange bonus of Rs 5,000, and a loyalty discount of Rs 7,500, along with a corporate offer of Rs 2,500, a subscription plan worth Rs 1,125, and interest rates starting as low as 5.99 per cent. Hero's EV arm has partnered with banks and NBFCs, such as Hero FinCorp, IDFC, and Ecofy, with the intent of providing attractive finance options to its customers. Moreover, an extended battery warranty also comes in handy, valued at Rs 8,259.

Hero Vida V1: Battery, Range
Unlike before, the Hero Vida V1 now comes only in a single variant – Pro. The Vida V1 Pro is equipped with a 3.94kWh battery pack that sends power to an electric motor, yielding a claimed range of 110 kilometres (real-world range). Power and torque figures stand at 8bhp and 25Nm respectively.
With 8bhp at its disposal, the Pro can hit 40km/h in a claimed time of 3.2 seconds. The top speed of the electric scooter, meanwhile, is marked at 80km/h. Additionally, the Hero Vida V1 Pro comes with a fast charger that can charge the scooter up to 80 per cent at a rate of 1.2km per minute.
Hero Vida V1: Features
Features-wise, the Vida V1 gets all-LED lighting, an OTA-enabled 7.0-inch TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, keyless entry, cruise control, an anti-theft alarm, a combined braking system, a disc drum setup (front/rear), 12-inch alloy wheels, four ride modes (Eco, Ride, Sport, and user-customisable), and five colour options (white, orange, red, cyan, and black).

The Hero Vida V1 is built on an intelligent platform that is modular, scalable, and adaptable in real time. Priced at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Hero Vida V1 Pro rivals the likes of the TVS iQube, Ola S1 range, and Bajaj Chetak. Notably, this price is inclusive of a portable charger, FAME II subsidy, and state government subsidy.
