Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0: What's New?
Hero MotoCorp hasn't altered the design in any way to ensure that its identity is maintained. Nonetheless, the Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0's most notable highlights are its contemporary features. For instance, it receives an LED headlamp with an integrated LED position lamp. It also has a signature H-shaped LED taillamp at the back.
As far as the colour options are concerned, the bike is available for purchase in three new paint jobs: Matte Grey, Gloss Black, and Gloss Red. The engine crash guard is still chrome-finished, while other stylistic features like side hooks and a tubular grab rail that also functions as a short tail rack are still present. Additionally, the larger glove box with a hinge-style design adds convenience, and the new Splendour Plus Xtec is said to have a longer seat for greater comfort.
The standout feature is the fully digital instrument console, which includes a side stand indicator, eco-indicator, service reminder, and real-time mileage indicator. The Hero motorcycle also boasts Bluetooth connectivity for calls, texts, and battery alerts in addition to a USB charging port. Besides, a side-stand engine cutoff, bank angle sensor, and dedicated warning switch provide a safety net.

This unit is tuned to churn out 7.9bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. Furthermore, the engine includes the Idle Stop Start System (13S), which provides a best-in-class fuel economy of 73km/l (claimed). On the transmission front, a four-speed gearbox is available for the model.
