Hero MotoCorp recently rolled out a new Xtec variant for its popular Pleasure Plus range. The standard Pleasure Plus scooter lineup includes two variants: LX and VX, priced at Rs 70,838, and Rs 74,288, respectively. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. Meanwhile, there are a total of four variants in the Pleasure Plus' Xtec range: ZX, ZX Jubilant Yellow, Sports, and Connected. Notably, on the mechanical front, the same 110.9cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 8bhp of maximum power and 8.7Nm of peak torque powers all Hero Pleasure Plus models. An automatic CVT transmission transfers power to the back wheel. Telescopic front forks, a monoshock, and drum brakes at both ends perform hardware duties. Here's a look at how all these variants differ from each other.
Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec ZX
The starting price for the Pleasure Plus Xtec series is Rs 78,138 (ex-showroom). Similar to the standard Pleasure Plus variations, the Xtec ZX, also known as the Drum Alloy model, has a drum brake on both ends. It is devoid of connectivity functions such as location sharing, remote immobilisation, SOS notifications, and more. Three colour schemes are available for the Pleasure Plus Xtec base variant: Matt Black, Matt Vernier Grey, and Polestar Blue.
Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec ZX Jubilant Yellow
The vibrant Jubilant Yellow is another choice if you'd prefer a different paint job over the Drum Alloy variant. This model is identical to the base-spec Xtec variant except for the fresh colour option. It has the same features as the ZX model as well, such as chrome mirror caps and an extra grab rail fitted into the backrest. As for the price, the ZX Jubilant Yellow retails for Rs 79,738 (ex-showroom).
Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports
Hero MotoCorp's new Xtec Sports variant is an interesting addition to the lineup. It costs the same as the Jubilant Yellow variant at Rs 79,738 (ex-showroom). The most prominent highlight of this model is its eye-catching paint job and unique graphics. The scooter is decked out in Abrax Orange Blue, with orange highlights that contrast with the primary blue colour. The front apron, fender, and side panels all have "Pleasure 18" graphics, while the wheels have orange paint stripes. Furthermore, the sporty variation has body-coloured grab rails and rearview mirrors, as opposed to the standard one.
Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec Connected
Out of all the variants in the Pleasure Plus series, the Xtec Connected is the flagship model. Features such as geofencing, remote immobilisation, SOS alerts, call and SMS notifications, and location sharing are offered with this variant. Customers can choose between two exciting paint schemes - Bluish Teal and Matt Black. The ex-showroom price of the scooter stands at Rs 82,738.
