Hero MotoCorp has announced a hike in the price of their all-new Karizma XMR 210 from October 2023. This price revision will reflect an increase of Rs 7,000. Till September 30, the Karizma XMR can be had at an affordable price of Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Following this, prospective buyers will have to shell out an additional amount of Rs 7,000 to keep this legendary bike in their garage. With effect from October 1, the new price will be Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The purchase window for the new Hero Karizma XMR 210 is open but will close at Midnight on September 30, 2023. Customers can either book the bike online or through Hero MotoCorp dealerships across the country, with a booking amount set at Rs 3,000. Hero has already started producing the Karizma XMR motorcycle at its plant. The first unit was rolled out of the floor about 10 days back, and the deliveries are set to follow soon.

Hero Karizma XMR: Engine and Output
A brand-new 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled 4-valve engine powers the new Karizma XMR. Power and torque figures are rated at 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm, respectively. These are marginally lower than those of the Suzuki Gixxer SF (26bhp/22Nm). Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox.
Hero Karizma XMR: Suspension, Braking
The Hero Karizma XMR 210 features an all-new steel trellis frame, which is suspended with the help of a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a large 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the back. Dual-channel ABS is standard, making the brand's first motorcycle to get it.
Hero Karizma XMR: Design, Dimensions
Although the new Hero Karizma XMR borrows design cues from the original Hero Honda Karizma, it appears noticeably distinctive and fresh. Having a sporty and aggressive appearance, the XMR 210 bike comes with fully-faired bodywork, similar to the Gixxer SF which also hides most of the underpinnings. There is a muscular fuel tank, a sleek LED headlight, and a raked tail section with split-type grab rails. Also up for offer is an adjustable windshield.
Having a kerb weight of 163.5kg, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 is heavier than the Gixxer SF 250 (161kg). It has a long wheelbase of 1,351mm and features 160mm of ground clearance.
Hero Karizma XMR: Features
The Karizma XMR packs in a host of nifty features for an improved riding experience. These include segment-first intelligent illumination, H-pattern LED DRLs, a USB charger, and an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. In addition, a hazard light switch, turn-by-turn navigation, slip and assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS are also available for enhanced rider convenience and safety.

Hero Karizma XMR: Market Rivals
The all-new Karizma XMR comes in three colour options – Iconic Yellow, Turbo Red, and Matte Phantom Black. In the Indian market, it goes up against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, the Yamaha R15 V4, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, and the KTM RC 200.
