The new Karizma XMR 210 from the stable of Hero MotoCorp was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom) after a long anticipation. For Rs 3,000, reservations are already underway for the two-wheeler with the legendary 'Karizma' nameplate, and deliveries are expected to start later this month. In a recent development, the manufacturer shared a post on its social media account to announce the roll-out of the first Karizma XMR 210 from the plant. This shows that the bike is now officially in production by the company, and deliveries will shortly start in our market. The new XMR 210 sports a number of features, including a segment-first adjustable windscreen, light clip-on handlebars, Class-D LED projector headlamps, a robust fuel tank, and others.

Hero Karizma XMR 210: Engine and Hardware
Powering the new Hero Karizma XMR is a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that cranks out approximately 25bhp (25.5 PS) of maximum power at 9,250rpm and a peak torque of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm, which claims to be the highest in the segment. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch. Hardware-wise, the new Karizma XMR 210 has 6-step adjustable mono-shocks in the back and telescopic forks up front. The Karizma XMR has a disc brake at the rear and a single petal-type disc up front with a dual-channel ABS.

An LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, H-pattern LED DRLs, a USB charger, a hazard light switch, turn-by-turn navigation, and dual-channel ABS, are some of the features of the new Hero MotoCorp motorcycle. As for the colours, interested buyers can select from the 3 options available for the bike– Iconic Yellow, Matte Phantom Black, and Turbo Red.
