Hero MotoCorp, one of the leading producers of motorcycles and scooters, has received 13,688 reservations for its recently launched flagship motorcycle, the Karizma XMR, surfing on the tide of an overwhelmingly positive response to its new premium model. The dispatches of the bikes from the production line have begun and deliveries are slated to commence during the approaching festive season. The all-new Karizma XMR was rolled out for the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 1.73 lakh. However, following a price hike this month, the cost of the bike has now been updated to Rs 1.80 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. The bookings for the first batch of the motorcycle started on August 29 and were halted by September 30. Although the firm has stated that the new booking window will open soon, it hasn't provided a specific time frame.

Hero Karizma XMR: Engine and Hardware Details
A 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with the highest torque in its class of 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm and approximately 25.15bhp of maximum power at 9,250rpm propells the new bike. A 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch is available. The Karizma XMR 210's hardware includes a 6-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear and telescopic forks up front. The braking system comprises dual-channel ABS and a disc at either end. Further, the new bike comes fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels.
Hero Karizma XMR: Design and Features
The new version takes design inspirations from the original Hero Honda Karizma, which was the result of a partnership between Hero MotoCorp and Honda. The XMR 210 has a sporty, aggressive design and a fully-fired body with several sharp creases and lines. The bike's front fascia has a split-style seat arrangement, Class-D LED projector headlamps, an aggressive fuel tank, and the industry's first adjustable windshield. An LED tail light and an upswept tail portion are additional components. In terms of colour options, customers have a range of options to choose from such as Iconic Yellow, Matte Phantom Black, and Turbo Red.
A number of useful features are included in the Karizma XMR 210 for a better riding experience. One-of-a-kind intelligent illumination, H-pattern LED DRLs, a USB charger, and an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity are a few of these amenities. A caution light switch, turn-by-turn navigation, and dual-channel ABS are additional features that can be added for the ease and safety of the rider.
