The XTEC version of the Destini 125 arrives with Bluetooth connectivity, a new LED headlamp and a new Nexus Blue colour.
Hero MotoCorp has added the Destini 125 to its 'XTEC' model line-up. While the range-topping XTEC version of the scooter is priced at ₹79,990, the Destini 125 range now starts at ₹69,900 (STD Drum variant). Apart from these two, customers can also opt for the LX Drum variant, which is priced at ₹74,300. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
In terms of changes and updates, the Destini 125 XTEC features Bluetooth connectivity, an LED headlamp, which sits in a slightly redesigned housing, a pillion backrest, which is fitted to a modified grab rail, and a new colour – Nexus Blue. The Destini 125 XTEC comes fitted with a front USB charging port and a new digital-analogue instrument cluster, which incorporates a dedicated side-stand visual indicator.
Mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged. Even the new XTEC variant continues to be powered by the same i3S-equipped 125cc single-cylinder motor that develops 9bhp @ 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of torque @ 5,500rpm. Interestingly, despite costing nearly 80k, the Destini 125 XTEC misses out on some important features, like disc brakes and fully-digital instrumentation.
