Harley-Davidson has updated its Low Rider and GLide series of motorcycles, along with its Custom Vehicle Operation range of cruises.

Harley-Davidson has some serious plans for the year 2022. The American cruiser maker has showcased its 2022 line-up, which includes seven motorcycles and one trike – all existing models. While some of them will simply get cosmetic updates, others will be launched with some substantial changes.

The line-up includes Low Rider S, Low Rider ST, Street Glide ST, Road Glide ST, CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide, CVO Road Glide Limited, and CVO Tri Glide.

Harley-Davidson offers the Reflex Linked Braking System, with the updated 2022 Street Glide ST and Road Glide ST. Now, there are cornering ABS and traction control systems, which work in sync with an IMU. The cruisers will be updated with Harley’s Boom” Box GTS multimedia unit as well. However; these units are optional with the motorcycles.

Coming to the CVO (Custom Vehicle Operation) motorcycles, the CVO Street Glide, CVO Road Glide, CVO Road Glide Limited, and CVO Tri Glide come standard with the exclusive paint scheme, an updated infotainment system, and an electronic suit.

Finally, the 2022 Low Rider S and the ST get the firm’s Milwaukee Eight 117 engine. The unit displaces 1,920cc and churns out 170Nm. The ST, which is a bagger, gets the hard saddlebags, a front fairing, a high handlebar, and a relatively higher rear suspension, which offers a slightly higher ride height. On the other hand, the Low Rider S is equipped with a much smaller headlight cowl and has a lower ride height.

Additionally, both Low Rider models now come with a 43mm USD fork and a rear mono-shock suspension, with 13mm more fork travel and 25mm more rear-wheel travel.

Earlier this month, Harley-Davidson also showcased the new Sportsters S and the 2022 Pan-America 1250. Both the aforementioned motorcycles now get new clour schemes. The updated Sportster S and the Pan-America 1250 will be launched in India sometime in the latter half of 2022.
