Just a few weeks after Harley Davidson unveiled their 2018 Softail range, their Indian division is officially offering hefty discounts on the models being sold in India currently. Starting 1st September, Harley Davidson is offering discounts of more than Rs 2 lakh on the Fat Boy and the Heritage Softail Classic.
The Harley Davidson Fat Boy now carries a sticker price of Rs 14.99 lakh down from the previous Rs 17.01 lakh. The Heritage Softail Classic on the other hand now demands Rs 15.99 lakhs as opposed to Rs 18.50 lakh before. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.
Aside from the discount offers, Harley Davidson also has attractive finance schemes. H-D has launched what they call ‘Bullet EMI’ Scheme under which customers get flexible finance schemes with reduced EMIs for higher down payment once or on multiple times each year. The Fat Boy is being offered at a minimum EMI of Rs 14,999 while the Heritage Softail Classic has a starting EMI of 15,999.
Both these motorcycles are powered by a 1,690cc V-twin motor and make 65bhp of power. While the Softail Classic makes 124Nm of max torque, the Fat Boy makes marginally higher 125Nm from its motor. Both bikes come mated to a 6-speed transmission. With the new generation models unveiled globally and likely to be launched in the future, it is clear that the Harley Davidson is trying to clear the current stock by offering attractive discounts and finance schemes.
