Harley-Davidson India Expands Portfolio

The legendary American bike maker has just added three more products to its product portfolio here in India. At a recent event held in Mumbai, Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson unveiled the all-new Breakout.

The legendary American bike maker has just added three more products to its product portfolio here in India. At a recent event held in Mumbai, Anoop Prakash, Managing Director, Harley-Davidson unveiled the all-new Breakout, Street Glide Special and the new flagship model for India called the CVO Limited.

The Breakout is the newest collection to the Softail family of motorcycles and it looks radically different than any other bike in this family. The rear suspension is hidden and so the bike looks like a proper dragster bike, and it also comes in a new colour -Hard Candy Custom metal flake color Quicksilver Flake - only for this model. The handlebars are also positioned in a more aggressive position and the rear tyre is the same one that you will find on the Night Rod Special. The Breakout has been launched at a price of Rs. 16,28,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Street Glide Special is the brand's popular performance tourer and it is equipped with a high power twin cam 1689cc engine.  The bike features Boom! Box 6.5GT infotainment system, batwing fairing with splitstream vent, dual halogen headlamp, Enforcer cast aluminium wheels and reflex linked brakes with ABS. The Street Glide Special is priced at Rs. 29,70,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.

The new flagship model for the Indian market, the CVO Limited comes from the company's 'Custom Vehicle Operations' otherwise known as the CVO family. This bike is a mammoth of a machine and possibly the most modern age cruiser from Harley-Davidson. The bike features an audio system, a LCD display, batwing fairing and a massive dashboard that seem more like a cockpit. The bike also gets a pillion backrest and arm rest for a luxurious ride, and there are also plenty of luggage storage compartments. The CVO Limited has been launched at a price of Rs. 49,23,793 ex-showroom, Delhi.
