Hero MotoCorp has unveiled the updated Mavrick 440, featuring several notable improvements at the EICMA 2024, which is currently underway in Milan, Italy. The most prominent change is the addition of a golden USD (Up-Side-Down) front fork, which enhances the bike’s appearance and handling. New Hero Mavrick 440: Updates

Hero’s flagship Mavrick 440 has undergone a significant redesign to better attract Indian riders. A major update is the inclusion of a golden USD fork, which is identical to the one found on the Harley-Davidson's X 440. This upgrade is expected to boost the bike's visual appeal. The Mavrick 440 also gets a new TFT screen, borrowed from the Harley bike, but with a different interface to distinguish the two models. Furthermore, the bike displayed at EICMA was finished in a sleek, stealthy grey, which complemented the golden fork, giving it a bold, refined look.

The bike's other technical details stay consistent, retaining the 440cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine as its power source. This unit is paired with a six-speed transmission and a slip-and-assist clutch. While the Mavrick 440 and the Harley-Davidson X 440 share the same powertrain and deliver identical power output (27bhp at 6,000rpm), the Mavrick 440 generates 36Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This is 2Nm less than the Harley, which produces 38Nm of torque at the same rpm.

The Mavrick 440 is built on a trellis frame and features 17-inch alloy wheels, with the base model equipped with spoke wheels. With a seat height of 803mm, the bike offers good accessibility, while its 175mm ground clearance makes it ideal for navigating Indian road conditions.
