KTM has made a spectacular entry at the 2024 edition of the EICMA with a bunch of exciting models, including the 390 Adventure R, Enduro R, and the 990 RC R. The Austrian manufacturer has also revealed the 390 SMC R supermoto bike, which was seen doing road testing overseas last month. As you can see, the Supermoto shares several design elements with the 390 Enduro R, such as an elevated fender, a flat single-piece seat, a tubular handlebar, sharp bodywork with tank extensions, short side panels, and a flattened LED headlamp with cowl. However, the road-focused tyres and wheels distinguish it from the road-legal dual-sport.

KTM has not made any announcements, but various industry reports suggest that the Supermoto's Indian debut is unlikely. KTM 390 SMC R: Other Details
The bike is expected to be powered by a 399cc liquid-cooled LC4c engine, which is currently offered on the 390 Duke. In the latter, the unit produces 45.3bhp and 39Nm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The 390 SMC R features monoshocks, WP USD front forks, and a single front and rear disc. It is expected to include electronic aids such as cornering ABS, traction control, launch control, and multiple ride modes, similar to the 390 Duke. While there is no confirmation, KTM may equip the bike with an 8.8-inch horizontal colour TFT display.
