EICMA 2024: Ducati has revealed the latest versions of the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 sports bikes. Both bikes come with a new 890cc, 90-degree, V-twin engine weighing 54.4kg, making them the first Ducatis to do so. Replacing the existing 955cc Superquadro engine, the new V2 engine is Ducati's lightest twin-cylinder unit yet. It comes in two configurations – 113bhp/92Nm and 118bhp/93.3Nm. Ducati offers the latter for the 2025 Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2. Also available is a twin-exit underseat exhaust.
While the power figure is less than before, Ducati compensates for it by making the bikes lighter than before – the top-spec variants of the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2 now tip the scales at 176kg and 175kg, respectively. This is partly due to a lightweight aluminium monocoque frame with a double-sided swingarm. The swingarm on the Streetfighter V2 is 30mm longer than the Panigale V2. The former additionally gets a Sachs steering damper as standard.

Both bikes get a fully adjustable suspension setup. The entry-level variants employ Marzocchi forks and KYB shock absorbers, while the top-end variants feature Ohlins units. The front braking setup combines twin 320mm discs with Brembo’s M50 monobloc callipers. The bikes roll on 17-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres. The Streetfighter V2 has a towering 838mm seat height, while the Panigale V2 is a little shorter with its seat height at 837mm.
