The Honda CBR600RR, which was discontinued in 2017, has made its re-entry into the European market. At the ongoing EICMA 2023, Honda unveiled the iconic supersport along with new and upgraded models, such as the Honda CB1000 Hornet, CB500 Hornet, and NX500. The 2024 CBR600RR features significant upgrades in terms of hardware, features, and design. In addition, the motorcycle has been outfitted with contemporary electronics that draw inspiration from MotoGP. For the new CBR600RR, Honda has also added racing gear and equipment. Along with the suspension and race exhausts, there is also an optional track-only HRC race package, which comes with a new wiring harness.

The bike is powered by a 599cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, which develops 119bhp at 14,250rpm and 63Nm at 11,500rpm. The supersport includes a slipper clutch and a quick-shifter as standard. Honda's six-axis IMU offers lean-sensitive electrical assistance, including wheelie control, nine-level traction control, and cornering ABS. It also has an electronic steering damper controlled by the ECU, an engine brake management system, and a TFT screen.
The bike has a twin-spar aluminium structure and features 41mm Showa big piston USD forks at the front and a Showa mono-shock at the rear, both of which are fully adjustable. To assist the front four-piston callipers, it gets an all-new Nissin ABS modulator and ECU. This has additionally made the motorcycle weigh 2.5 kg less than before. The winglets on the CBR600RR create downforce over the front tyre, improving its cornering abilities.
