A Ducati motorcycle that pays homage to the legacy of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ… seems interesting! However, with this exclusive one-of-one V4J, the Superleggera’s production cycle comes to an end.
The exotic superbike club is mostly led by the Italians and one of the members of that club is Ducati. The motorcycle maker from Bologna has the Superleggera V4 in that class and what makes it special is the fact that Ducati has limited the production up to 500 units ONLY!
And now that the Ducati Superleggera V4’s production cycle is complete, the brand has decided to finish it with an exclusive Superleggera V4 - Yes, we’re talking one of one.
The 500th piece of the Superleggera V4 gets a little more attention. This very superbike wears the livery inspired from the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. Thus, the motorcycle has been named the Ducati Superleggera V4J, with ‘J’ denoting Jota which means ‘track-ready’.
The motorcycle has been developed by the Ducati dealership in Newport Beach, California. This unique Superleggera V4J was on display at both the Ducati, as well as, Lamborghini dealerships because, why not!
The first unit of the Superleggera V4 was delivered in June 2020, and within one and a half years, the limited unit production run has come to an end. Ducati has equipped the Superleggera V4 with a 998cc V4 engine which churns out 224bhp. Put on an Akrapovic exhaust system, the motorcycle will gain 10bhp more. These are the power figures of a motorcycle which weighs only 159kg (dry). Then there is the Superleggera V4R which features uprated parts and weighs lesser.
