With the new Cafe Racer joining in, Ducati’s Scrambler series now consists of four different models.
Not too long ago, Ducati launched the upgraded BS-IV compatible Scrambler series in India - with addition of a new Desert Sled model. Now, further expanding the Scrambler brand, the Italian company has gone ahead and launched the Scrambler Cafe Racer.
Staying true to the characteristic retro-modern design theme of a cafe racer, the newest Scrambler gets a new handle with clip-on bars - for that sporty lean forward riding posture. The rear view mirrors are also handle mounted, further complimenting the design theme.
Adding to its unique appeal, the Scrambler Cafe Racer gets Termignoni exhaust with dual tail pipes, black anodised aluminium cover and a dedicated seat featuring a cover for the passenger section.
The Scrambler version gets cast aluminium 17” wheels with Pirelli tyres - 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear. The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer sports a Brembo braking system featuring Bosch 9.1 MP ABS with a pressure sensor. It also features a radial-type front brake pump for stronger braking performance.
The cafe racer version of the Scrambler is powered by Ducati’s familiar 803cc, oil-cooled, L-twin motor, that produces 73 horses and 67Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Ducati has given the Scrambler Cafe Racer a dedicated line of accessories and apparel. The motorcycle is now available in a Black Coffee colour with black frame and gold wheels across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kochi. It is priced at Rs. 9.32 lakh, ex-showroom, pan-India.
