The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and 1100 Sport Pro have been priced at Rs 11.95 lakh and Rs 13.74 lakh, respectively. The motorcycles are now BS6 compliant and come with some minor styling updates.
After launching the Panigale V2 in August, Ducati India has now brought its second BS6-compliant product – the Scrambler 1100. Available in two variants – Pro and Pro Sport – the new Scrambler features minor changes in its Euro5/BS6 avatar. The Scrambler 1100 Pro has been priced at Rs 11.95 lakh, while the Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport carries a price tag of Rs 13.74 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
Barring a few subtle updates, the design of the Scrambler 1100 BS6 is more or less unchanged. This means that the motorcycles have a beefy and retro look. The design highlights include round headlamps with full LEDs, asymmetrically housed instrument dials, signature dual-exhaust pipes, and new colour schemes. The Pro version is offered in Ocean Drive dual-tone shade, whereas the Sport Pro gets Matt Black paint scheme. The Sport Pro version also features a more aggressive and sportier stance, since it gets a flat handlebar and bar-end mirrors that give it a café-racer look.
Both the versions feature Ducati’s 1,079cc air-cooled L-twin motor. The engine develops 83.5bhp @ 7,250rpm and 90.5Nm of torque @ 4,750rpm and comes paired to a six-speed transmission. The standard kit on both the versions include ride-by-wire throttle, Brembo Monobloc M4 callipers at the front wheel, three riding modes, cornering ABS, and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). In the Pro version, the suspension setup features fully-adjustable 45mm Marzocchi USD front fork and an adjustable Kayaba mono-shock at the rear. The Sport Pro gets Öhlins suspension setup, featuring fully-adjustable 48mm USD front fork, and a rear mono-shock.
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport are now available across Ducati dealerships in the country. Customer deliveries are expected to commence in October 2020.
