The Scrambler 1100 will be available in three-variants – Standard, Special and Sport.

Ducati India has finally put the bigger Scrambler 1100 on sale in the country. The motorcycle is launched in three variants – Standard, Sport and Special – and is priced between ₹10.91 lakh and ₹11.42 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the motorcycle are already open across Ducati’s dealerships in India.

The Scrambler Ducati 1100 is basically a grown-up and more sophisticated version of the original Scrambler. So, design wise, it looks familiar. That said, it features new X-pattern round headlamps with LED daytime running lights, beefier shocks and a twin-outlet under-seat exhaust, differentiating it from its lesser sibling. There’s also a new instrument cluster with a twin-pod setup, and it looks quite cool.

At the heart of the Scrambler 1100 sits a 1,079cc, L-twin engine that develops 84bhp at 7,500rpm and 88Nm of torque at 4,750rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. In addition to that, the 1100 version comes with an electronic suite that’s missing in the Scrambler 800. For example, there’s cornering ABS and a four-level traction control system on offer here. The Scrambler 1100 also gets ride-by-wire throttle.

As for the variants, the standard and Special have a 45mm upside-down fork from Marzocchi and a monoshock from Kayaba. The Sport, on the other hand, gets Ohlins suspension on both wheels – a 48mm upside-down fork and a monoshock at the back. Braking system consists of radial-mounted twin-disc brakes with Brembo M4.32B callipers as standard on the front wheel.

The standard version is available in two shades – yellow and black, while the Special can only be had in grey. The Sport is available only in black shade.

The Special, however, can be distinguished from others, thanks to its brushed swingarm, low-set bars, spoked wheels, brown leather quilted seat and chrome exhaust headers.

Here are the variant wise ex-showroom prices of the Scrambler 1100 in India,

Standard – Rs 10.91 lakh

Special – Rs 11.12 lakh

Sport – Rs 11.42 lakh
