As a befitting homage to the venerable Superquadro engine line-up, Ducati, the renowned Italian motorcycle maker, has launched the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition, a limited edition model. The Superquadro – known for being the brand's most advanced twin-cylinder engine ever – has been an important aspect of the company's success for over thirty years. With its distinctive desmodromic four-valve-per-cylinder setup, this final version of the Panigale V2 honours the legacy of the 90° V2 engine. It is important to note that the special edition model will be globally limited to just 555 units. Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition: Design Elements
The new Superquadro Final Edition receives a few tweaks over the standard Ducati Panigale V2. The fuel tank is painted grey, and the bike is finished in red, white, and black. The motorcycle's side fairing features the Italian tricolour and the contour of the engine's forward-facing cylinder head.
The billet aluminium steering plate, featuring the unique serial number, designated for every unit of the Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition, is one of the bike's notable design features. Moreover, carbon fibre is used for the exhaust end cap, swingarm protection, shock protector, chain guard, and clutch cover. The limited edition Ducati model also gets an Italian flag sewed into the seat and adjustable billet aluminium foot pegs made by Rizoma.
Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition: Engine Specs
The 955cc twin-cylinder engine of the Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition produces 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm and 155bhp of maximum power at 10,750rpm. The unit is a stressed member in a monocoque frame, sitting beneath the attractive bodywork.

The suspension system consists of a rear mono-shock Ohlins TTX36 and front forks, measuring 43 mm each. The bike is equipped with 17-inch wheels, shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres. With 320 mm front discs and a 245 mm single disc at the back, the Brembo monobloc M4.32 callipers provide excellent braking performance. The first Superquadro engine was developed for the 1199 Panigale. The name was a reference to its high bore-to-stroke ratio, which enabled the twin-cylinder engine to generate the maximum power value possible at 1285cc displacement. With sports grips, the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition is available in a single-seater configuration. The distinctive touch is enhanced by the contact key and the dashboard's animation upon key-on. Along with the billet aluminium racing tank cover included with the bike, Ducati will offer customers the option to remove the licence plate, mirrors, and other accessories for the racetrack. The Panigale V2 also comes with a GPS module. In terms of electronics, it gets riding modes, anti-wheelie, quick-shifter, and multi-level traction control.
Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition: Will It Come to India?
The special edition product, which comes with a personalised motorcycle cover and an authenticity certificate, will go on sale in October of this year. A limited number of Ducati units will be allocated for India, and first-come, first-serve delivery terms will apply. Upon launch, the ex-showroom price will likely range between Rs 27 lakh and Rs 30 lakh.
