Ducati has opened its fifth showroom in the country as the company inaugurated a new showroom in Pune, recently. Run under the banner of Bavaria Motors, the new outlet is spread over 4,500 square feet, housing a showroom as well as a service facility.
After setting up shops in Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon and Bangalore, Ducati seems to have been doing well in the country among the well-heeled motorcycle enthusiasts of the country. The company offers Monster range, Diavel, Multistrada, Hypermotard and the more affordable Scrambler range of bikes. All these will be on display at the Pune showroom, although if you plan to go for a high-performance model such as the 1299 Panigale, 1299 Panigale S, Panigale R you need to pre-order them.
Commenting on the development, Ravi Avalur, Managing Director of Ducati India said: “Pune and its neighboring cities have some of the most passionate motorcyclists in the country and we are keen to bring to them a taste of the Authentic Italian Performance that Ducati offers. We believe our partnership with Bavaria Motors will help us deliver to the city a customer ownership experience that is consistent with our global standards.”
Apart from expanding its network, Ducati will also add more motorcycles to its portfolio in India. First of these will the new 959 Panigale that was showcased at the recently concluded 2016 India Bike Week. The company will be launching the motorcycle in a while, carrying a sticker price of Rs 14.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
