The legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati, has just revealed to the world their latest offering from the Monster range. The all-new Monster 821 will replace the outgoing Monster 796, and it takes its attractive and aggressive design cues from its older sibling - the Monster 1200. The main differences between the Monster 821 and the 1200 is that the 821 gets a double-sided swingarm, lower spec Brembo brakes and different exhaust silencers.

The bike is powered by the 821cc Testastretta 11 V-twin engine first seen in the Hypermotard and which has 112bhp. The bike is also reasonably light at just 179 kilograms dry weight so it will probably be easily maneuverable. The Ducati Monster 821 will also come with high-tech safety features such as ABS, 8-level traction control and more, plus it will also have different riding modes that the rider will be able to choose from according to the rider's needs. The Ducati 821 Monster will also be available in a special Monster 821 Dark edition, which features dark stealth paint job with a black frame and black wheels.
