Ducati Unica will allow customers to go beyond the catalogue and create a motorcycle unlike any other.
A Ducati is a special motorcycle. Even if you live in a city like Monaco, you’re bound to turn heads astride a Panigale V4S. But what if you want something more? What if, perhaps, you don’t want your Ducati to be the same as the one that’s just pulled up next to you at the traffic light? Fret no more, Ducati Unica is here to satisfy your craving for a truly 1-of-1 motorcycle.
Think of Ducati Unica as something like Lamborghini’s Ad Personam or Ferrari’s Tailor Made program — a way to customise the materials, paint options, finishes and textures beyond what you can get off the shelf.
Ducati Unica will allow customers to enter the Ducati Centro Stile atelier, speak to designers and technicians first hand and build a truly bespoke bike. Ducati will document the entire process from sketch to delivery for the customer and will even give a ‘certificate of uniqueness’ with each Unica model.
Customisation options will include precious materials, unique finishes, special colours and Ducati Performance parts. While not explicitly stated, Ducati Unica could potentially allow customers to change the overall design of their bike too, as long as you’ve got the dough!
Ducati will be accepting only a limited number of Unica requests every year, to keep the program exclusive and you can rest assured knowing that these customisation options will not come cheap. But then again, you can’t really put a price on something that’s one of a kind. Right?
