Ducati India has launched the special edition 959 Panigale Corse for ₹15.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bookings for the 959 Panigale Corse are now being accepted at all Ducati dealerships across India, as the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has launched the limited edition bike in India.
The 9595 Panigale Corse special edition motorcycle features livery inspired by the Ducati Corse MotoGP colours. The special edition Panigale will come with black wheels to compliment the livery and will make its India debut at the DRE Track Days, which will be held at the Buddh International Circuit on 13th and 14th October.
Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India Pvt. Ltd., said, 'The Panigale has always been the definite Ducati Superbike that allows biking enthusiasts to have an unparalleled experience on a race track. The 959 Panigale embodies absolute excellence through the advanced electronics package that inspires confidence and allows riders to explore the limit. In this special Corse livery, the 959 looks much more special and unique, as the paint scheme is inspired by the colours of our MotoGP bike, the Desmosedici GP 18.'
The heart of the 959 Panigale Corse is the 955cc Superquadro engine, capable of 157bhp and 107.4Nm of torque. It also comes equipped with an electronics package, which includes the latest generation two-channel Bosch ABS 9MP, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ride-by-Wire throttle (RbW). The India spec bike will, however, not come equipped with the Ohlins suspensions, lithium battery, Ohlins steering damper and Ducati Performance titanium silencers by Akrapovic.
