CFMoto has taken wraps off its neo-retro motorcycles for the international market – the CL-C Low Ride and the CL-X Spirit. The relatively new Chinese company showcased these models in their concept forms based on existing models. So far, there is no confirmation from the manufacturer’s end about making them to series production; however, if the brand plans on doing so, these concept bikes are expected to enter production sometime next year.
Let's start with the engine that gets these bikes going. CFMoto has offered no power and torque details, but it has revealed that the CL-C Low Ride and the CL-X Spirit come powered by the same 450cc, twin-cylinder engine with a 270-degree crank as others in CFMoto’s 450 lineup.

CFMoto CL-C Low Ride, CL-X Spirit: Styling
However, the two differ in terms of styling. The CL-C Low Ride is more in line with cruiser styling and, for that, CFMoto has drawn inspiration from its CL-C line, taking retro-inspired design cues such as a circular LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, as well as a relaxed seating position. Other visual bits include flat handlebars, a floating saddle, a premium SC-Project dual-exhaust system, and meaty-looking tyres. The bike's suspension setup offers a cantilever-style front end, while the engine casing looks neat with the matching accent colour.
For those looking for off-road-focused bikes, the CFMoto CL-X Spirit could make a committed off-roader. Drawing inspiration from the 700 CL-X range, the CL-X Spirit comes with a single-piece ribbed seat, a higher dual-exhaust system, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tyres, inverted front forks, and a cropped tail section.
The complete specifications of both bikes are under wraps. Expect them to be uncovered closer to the production timeline. As far as our market is concerned, there is no official communication with respect to their arrival here.

The riding ergonomics have also been revised as well, with the bike sporting lower handlebars and higher rear sets. Meanwhile, the mechanicals remain unaltered. Powering the 800NK GP is a 799cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that belts out 99.2bhp and 81Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox. Although there is no official news from CFMoto about the launch of the 800NK GP in India, we assume that it is unlikely to go on sale here.
