BS6 Suzuki Access 125 price hiked

Suzuki has revised the prices of the BS6 Access 125 for the second time since its launch in January. The Access now starts at Rs 68,800 for the base drum brake version and Rs 73,400 for the top-end

Just last week, we reported that KTM has revised the prices of its model range. Bajaj and Honda too have increased the prices of some of their models. Now, it seems that Suzuki too is following the bandwagon. Priced starting Rs 68,800, the Access 125 now demands Rs 1,700 more than before across all variants. The fully-loaded Special Edition Access 125 with the disc brake option costs Rs 73,400. This is the second time Suzuki has hiked the price of the BS6 Access 125 since its launch in January. At the time, the scooter was introduced at Rs 64,800 for the base trim and the top-end Special Edition carried a sticker price of Rs 69,500.

The increase in price doesn’t bring with it any value addition for the customers. The Access 125 continues to sport the same design and features as before. At the heart, the Access comes with a 124cc air-cooled fuel injected motor that is good for 8.5bhp and 10Nm. Depending on the variant, braking power comes from either drum brakes at both ends or a disc option at the front. CBS is standard across all variants though.

In other news, like a lot of other brands, Suzuki too has commenced doorstep delivery and service facility for its customers. Customers will have to go through a 5-step online process to book their vehicles, or they can book by calling the customer helpline number.
