On sale in two variants, Standard and Deluxe, the BS6 Honda Grazia starts at Rs 73,336. With the update, the Grazia also gets an engine kill switch, idle start-stop system and more
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), has now launched the BS6 Grazia at a starting price of Rs 73,336 (ex-showroom Gurgaon) for the standard variant. The Deluxe trim with the front disc brake demands Rs 80,402.
The biggest change to the new Grazia comes in the form of the 125cc motor that now gets fuel injection to keep up with the BS6 emission norms. The updated engine develops 8.14bhp and 10.3Nm - that's a marginal dip in the power and torque figure from its predecessor. Honda has fitted only the Deluxe variant with the idle-start stop system, while only the standard trim comes with the engine kill switch. The Grazia continues to sit on telescopic forks at the front and a three-step adjustable hydraulic suspension at the back. Only the Deluxe trim has been fitted with alloy wheels and a front disc brake - the standard makes do with steel wheels and a drum brake at the front.
Other features in the new Grazia include LED headlamp and position lamp, and a digital display with average fuel economy and real-time fuel efficiency readings. The display also has an ECO indicator, a clock, and service due indicator.
Honda offers Grazia with a standard warranty of 3 years which can be further extended by another 3 years. The Grazia compete with the likes of the TVS Ntorq, the Suzuki Access 125 and the likes.
