Brixton Crossfire, Cromwell Motorcycles Launched In India Starting at Rs 4.75 Lakh

Brixton Motorcycle made its entry in India with a range of motorcycles, with deliveries for the bikes starting in January 2025.

Brixton Motorcycles has officially entered the Indian market with a diverse lineup of 4 two-wheelers. The four motorcycles are the Crossfire 500X and Crossfire 500XC, and the retro-styled Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X, with prices ranging from Rs 4.74 lakh to Rs 9.11 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially, Brixton's motorcycles will be imported as completely knocked-down (CKD) units and assembled at the company's advanced facility in Kolhapur. Brixton plans to begin local manufacturing in India shortly in order to strengthen its presence. Deliveries will begin in January 2025.

Brixton Crossfire 500X and 500XC

The Brixton Crossfire lineup in India includes the 500X and 500XC, both powered by a 486cc parallel-twin engine that produces 46bhp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm of torque at 4,350rpm. These motorcycles have a six-speed transmission and tubeless tires for practicality. The Crossfire 500X has a café racer design with a round headlamp, a single-piece seat, and spoked wheels. It is priced at Rs 4.74 lakh and is suited for city and highway riding.

Brixton Crossfire 500XC

The Crossfire 500XC follows a scrambler design with a beak-style front mudguard, a metal windshield, and side-mounted number boards. It is priced at Rs 5.19 lakh and offers off-road capability.

The 500X uses 17-inch wheels on both ends, while the 500XC features a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. Both models share similar underpinnings, making them versatile options for various riding preferences.

Brixton Cromwell 1200 and 1200X

The Brixton Cromwell range offers motorcycles with a blend of classic design and modern performance. The Cromwell 1200 is priced at Rs 7.84 lakh and features a sculpted fuel tank, round mirrors, a long seat, and spoked wheels. This model offers a straightforward roadster design, ideal for riders who prefer a traditional look combined with reliable performance. The Cromwell 1200X is priced at Rs 9.11 lakh and is a limited-edition version with gold rims, a bench seat, a metal windscreen, and a unique logo. Only 100 units of the 1200X will be available in India. It is fitted with knobby tires for off-road use.

Brixton Cromwell 1200

Powered by a 1222cc parallel-twin engine, both models deliver 82bhp and 108Nm of torque for solid performance. Both motorcycles feature 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels and weigh 235kg. They offer a stable ride with good handling. The 1200X comes with knobby tires for off-road capability.

VLF Tennis

The VLF Tennis is an electric scooter designed for urban commuting. It features a 1.5 kW hub motor and a removable 2.5 kWh battery pack, providing a range of up to 130 km (IDC). The scooter has a top speed of 65 km/h and weighs 88 kg, making it easy to manoeuvre.

The Tennis comes with a 720-watt charger, capable of fully recharging the battery in about three hours. It includes a 5-inch color TFT display for riding information and LED lights for visibility.

Priced above models like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Vida V1, and Ather 450X, the Tennis offers a smaller battery pack but remains a viable option for city commuting.
