Bounce Infinity E1+ Electric Scooter Sees a Price Cut of Rs 24,000 in India, Costs the Same as Ola S1 X 3kWh

The Bounce Infinity E1+ can also be purchased with the 'Battery-as-a-service' package, where customers can either buy the scooter without the battery and the charger, or can subscribe to its battery swapping network.

Bounce Infinity, the Bengaluru-based electric scooter maker, has announced a price reduction of Rs 24,000 for the E1+. With immediate effect, the E1+ is priced at Rs 89,999, down from the earlier price of Rs 1.13 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. However, the revised price is applicable for a limited time only, valid till March 31, 2024. 

Bounce Infinity E1+: Battery, Range, Top Speed

Launched in December 2021 with a unique ‘Battery-as-a-service’ option, the E1 is the country's first electric scooter to feature a swappable battery. Three variants are on offer: E1+, E1 LE (Rs 1.08 lakh), and E1 (Rs 1.05 lakh), with the first two equipped with the same 2kWh battery pack, while the third one gets a larger 2.5kWh battery. 

The 2kWh lithium-ion battery sends power to a 2.2kW (3bhp) hub-mounted motor. The certified range of the Infinity E1+ in the Eco mode is 85 kilometres on a single charge. Speaking of riding modes, the E1+ can be had with two modes, which are Power and Eco. The battery is compatible with a 15A wall socket, and can be fully charged in about 4 to 5 hours. Bounce Infinity claims that the electric scooter can accelerate from a halt to 40km/h in 8 seconds, and is capable of reaching 65km/h top speed. 

Bounce Infinity E1+: Chassis, Suspension

Chassis-wise, the Bounce Infinity E1+ employs a tubular frame, suspended by hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. Meanwhile, the braking setup consists of discs at both ends with an Electronic Braking System (EBS). Also available is regenerative braking technology. 

Bounce Infinity E1+: Features

Features-wise, the Infinity E1+ include an all-digital instrument cluster, a unique Drag mode, a reverse mode, cruise control, alloy wheels, and circular LED projector headlamps. The firm additionally offers a smartphone application that provides Bluetooth connectivity, tracking, tow alert, antitheft, and geo-fencing.

Bounce Infinity E1+: Rivals

For a limited period, the E1+ can be bought at a sticker price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), which is the same as the Ola S1 X with a 3kWh battery. Speaking of which, Ola Electric recently revised the prices of the S1 X+, which is now available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 84,999.

Ola also launched the S1 X 4kW in early February, priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant yields a range of 190km (claimed) on a single charge, while the top speed is marked at 90km/h. Apart from the Ola S1 X+, the Bounce Infinity E1+ has rivals in the form of the Ola S1 Air, Ather 450S, and more.
