It has been more than a year now since German bike makers BMW announced their partnership with Indian bike maker TVS to produce low-capacity motorbikes, and there has been little word, or rumours for that matter, on the development of these bikes.
However, BMW's head of motorcycles, Stephan Schaller, has confirmed that a range of sub-500cc bikes, built in conjunction with Indian firm TVS, is undergoing testing and are set to be unveiled in 2015. Stephan broke the silence to a highly reputed British bike magazine.
Stephan also went on to say that these bikes are being designed and engineered at the BMW plant in Munich, Germany, and that the rest of the work will be done by TVS to make sure the bikes are ready for production at the end of 2015.

Stephan also hinted that the bikes will be on display at the Intermot motorcycle show in Cologne in October 2015.
