Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: At the 2025 Auto Expo, Yamaha has unveiled a range of exciting models, many of which are unlikely to make their way to India. Still, the showcase highlighted the brand's impressive engineering and innovation, serving as a reminder to biking enthusiasts, particularly millennials, of Yamaha’s technological excellence. The 2025 FZ-S Fi, India’s first hybrid motorcycle, is the main attraction at the Yamaha pavilion. The model on display is the high-spec DLX variant, with the added power boost provided by the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). For the uninitiated, the FZ-S Fi Hybrid is an entry-level commuter motorcycle designed for the Asian market, featuring a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The hybrid system enhances acceleration from a standstill, improves fuel efficiency, and helps cut down emissions, particularly during lower revs, when most pollutants are produced.
