Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: At the ongoing expo, TVS Motor Company showcased its latest innovation, the Jupiter CNG scooter, marking a significant step in sustainable mobility. This eco-friendly scooter combines the convenience of CNG with the performance and reliability that the Jupiter series is known for. Designed to cater to the growing demand for green mobility solutions, the Jupiter CNG offers impressive fuel efficiency and a reduction in carbon emissions, aligning with India's push for cleaner transportation options. The scooter boasts several advanced features such as an LED headlamp, semi-digital speedometer, and TVS’s IntelliGO start-stop technology. With this launch, TVS is poised to lead the charge in the emerging CNG-powered scooter market, offering a practical, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious alternative to traditional fuel scooters.
TVS Jupiter CNG: Technical Specs
The Jupiter CNG scooter features a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine, producing 7.10bhp at 6,000rpm and 9.4Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. This is slightly less power than the petrol-powered Jupiter 125, which generates 8.1bhp and 10.5Nm. As a result, the CNG version is expected to offer slower performance, with a top speed of 80.5km/h, as claimed by the two-wheeler manufacturer.

TVS claims the range of the scooter to be 226 km. With a mileage of 84km/kg, the running cost is less than Rs 1/km. Furthermore, the placement of the gas tank under the seat eliminates the possibility of any storage in that space. The Jupiter CNG lacks the 33-litre boot space that the petrol Jupiter 125 boasts, which is the largest in its category among petrol-powered scooters.
TVS Jupiter CNG: Anticipated Price
The Jupiter 125 currently ranges in price from Rs 79,540 to Rs 90,720, based on the selected variant. Considering the additional features and technology integrated into the new CNG version, it is anticipated that the price will be positioned within this range. The CNG variant is expected to retail between Rs 90,000 and Rs 99,000, matching the cost of the highest-end variant.
