The Benelli TNT 300 is now on sale at just Rs 2.99 lakh while the 302R costs Rs 3.10 lakh. The company claims that this slash in the price comes as a result of a reduction in manufacturing costs
Soon after resuming sale and operations in October last year, Benelli, which is now under the management of Hyderabad-based Mahavir Group, re-introduced the TNT 300, 302R and the TNT 600i. The naked TNT 300 at the time carried a sticker price of Rs 3.50 lakh while the 302R was priced at Rs 3.70 lakh. Much to the delight of motorcycling enthusiasts, Benelli has slashed the prices of the TNT 300 and the 302R. The TNT 300 is now priced at Rs 2.99 lakh while the 302R’s price has been slashed by an impressive Rs 60,000 – down to Rs 3.10 lakh. All prices ex-showroom.
Speaking about the launch, Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India said, “We strongly believe in the value proposition of our products and customer sentiments towards the brand Benelli. We have witnessed a significant reduction in the manufacturing cost of the TNT 300 and 302R models and this has helped us to pass on the benefit to the biking enthusiasts in India.”
Both these motorcycles are powered by the same engine – a 300cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that puts 38.26bhp and 26.5Nm to the ground. Both these offerings come paired with a 6-speed transmission.
Apart from the reduction in price, Benelli is also offering a three-year unlimited kilometre warranty for the motorcycle. Most Benelli products out there have always been priced quite competitively, but this one takes the game a step further. The reduction in the price of the TNT 300 brings it in line with the BMW G310R – which, by the way, is a single-cylinder offering. After the revision of the price, the 302R is now just Rs 10,000 more expensive than the Kawa saki Ninja 300.
