The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 are ready to be launched in the Indian market soon, as the company has teased their launch on social media platforms. Going by the teaser video, both the NS200 and the NS160 have received substantial changes in the form of upside-down (USD) forks and dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System). The Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 are already available with the USD suspensions in Brazil, where these bikes have been rolled out as the Dominar 200 and the Dominar 160. The company currently offers three generations of the Pulsars in the country that include the old-generation Pulsars, the Pulsar NS, and the new-generation Pulsars. To refresh the memory, Bajaj Auto launched the Pulsar NS200 in 2012 at Rs 84,096 (ex-showroom). While the NS160 was launched in 2017 at Rs 78,368 (ex-showroom).

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS160: What's new?
Now, the new Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 will be offered in a different format. The motorcycles will have USD forks, a first for the home market. The company will likely offer 33mm upside-down forks with the larger NS200 unit for better stability. Whereas, the smaller Pulsar NS160 is expected to get 31mm upside-down forks. According to some reports, the bikes are built on an improved chassis that will allow you to do corner-carving.
In terms of safety, the upcoming NS200 and the NS160 could feature dual-channel ABS. Presently, the bikes are equipped with 300mm discs up front and 230mm discs at the rear, with single-channel ABS.
Based on the teaser, we expect the new bikes to feature new colour schemes so as to give them a fresh appearance. But, the design, features, and powertrains could be retained in the NS200 and the NS160.
New Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS160: Powertrains
The new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 may use a 199.5cc single-cylinder engine and a 160.3cc single-cylinder engine, respectively. The 199.5cc engine is good enough for 24bhp at 9,750rpm and 19Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Powered by the 160.3cc engine, the Pulsar NS160 is anticipated to churn out 17bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 15Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. The engine gets a 5-speed transmission.

New Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and NS160: Expected Prices
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 are expected to be priced a bit higher than the outgoing models. As of now, the Pulsar NS200 and the NS160 are available at Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
