After the Yamaha FZ 25 and the FZS 25, the Dominar 250 is the motorcycle to receive a massive price cut. Bajaj has made the motorcycle more affordable by Rs 16,800 and priced it at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
Bajaj Dominar 250 has received a massive price cut of Rs 16,800. The motorcycle retailed for Rs 1.71 lakh (ex-showroom) until yesterday and with this recent announcement from Bajaj, the price of the Dominar 250 has come down to Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The new pricing is lower than the price for which the Dominar 250 debuted – Rs 1.6 lakh (ex-showroom).
Other than the (downward) revision in price, the motorcycle sports no change. No feature has been eliminated; however, the motorcycle is now available with a choice of two colour schemes only – Canyon Red and Charcoal Black – as opposed to four colour choices.
The motorcycle continues with its 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The quarter-litre engine forwards 26.6bhp and 23.5Nm to the wheel via a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle tips the scale at 180kg, which makes it the heaviest motorcycle in the segment, but the saddle height of 800mm could be welcoming for most riders with an average build.
The Bajaj Dominar 250 is the second motorcycle to receive a price cut in the segment. In the early weeks of June, the Yamaha FZ 25 and the FZS 25 received a price cut of Rs 18,800 and Rs 14,300, respectively.
