Following a series of spy images and teasers, Bajaj's first-ever CNG bike is set to launch in India tomorrow, July 5. The bike will be one-of-a-kind in the segment, without any direct competitors. It will be an alternative to models like the Bajaj Platina 110, the Honda Shine 100, the TVS Radeon, and the Hero Splendor Plus. Although the Chakan-based company hasn't confirmed anything, industry reports indicate that India's first CNG motorcycle will be called 'Bruzer'. It is expected to come in two versions: a base model with a typical commuter appearance, and a top-end variant with a more aggressive style. The former will likely include a standard exhaust unit, bulb indicators, a circular LED headlight, a flyscreen, and a long, flat single-piece seat. In contrast, the latter may feature knuckle guards, a rear tyre hugger, a sump guard, and a braced handlebar. The Bajaj bike is confirmed to feature a blue switch on the left handlebar to toggle between CNG and petrol modes. Now that the motorcycle is set to launch tomorrow, let's have a look at its possible features.

Bajaj CNG Bike: Mechanical and Hardware Specs

The bike is expected to have a sloper-style engine, with a capacity of around 125cc, and a performance output comparable to that of a 110cc petrol-powered motorcycle as CNG offers less power output than petrol. Nevertheless, it is expected to achieve better mileage than its counterpart. The motorcycle's hardware components may include a telescopic fork, a monoshock, a front disc brake, and a rear drum brake. Currently, it's unknown if the motorcycle will use a combination braking system (CBS) or a single-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Bajaj CNG Bike: Other Highlights

The bike is said to come with a CNG tank positioned below the motorcycle's flat seat, backed by a tubular steel cradle frame. It will have a smaller auxiliary petrol tank, which can be used in case CNG runs out. Other notable features of the Bajaj two-wheeler may include a fully digital instrument console, a heel-and-toe shifter, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
