Bajaj Auto has expanded its Chetak portfolio in India by launching a third model, the Chetak 2901 all-electric scooter. The new Chetak 2901 joins the Premium (Rs 1.47 lakh) and the Urbane (Rs 1.23 lakh) in Bajaj's Chetak line-up. Positioned under the Urbane variant, the Chetak 2901 carries a price tag of Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom), making it the Chetak family's most affordable electric scooter. The price includes the EMPS (Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024) subsidy, effective from April 1 to July 31, 2024.
At its price, the Bajaj Chetak 2901 gets five paint options – Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow, and Azure Blue, although the overall styling remains the same as other variants. Also available are alloy wheels and a Bluetooth-enabled colour digital instrument cluster for enhanced rider comfort and convenience. Moreover, an upgrade to the Tecpac for an extra Rs 3,000 allows you to access features such as hill hold, reverse, call and music control, ride modes (Sport and Eco), geo-fencing, Follow Me Home lights, and Bluetooth App connectivity.
