Ather Energy, the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer, recently confirmed that the production of its brand-new 450S electric scooter has commenced in the country. With the recent launch, the firm expanded its 450 range in response to significant changes to the FAME-II subsidy scheme. The Ather 450S is currently the brand's most affordable product and is positioned below the company's popular 450X, which has an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.38 lakh. The 450S e-scooter is available in two distinct variants with the base Core version priced at Rs 1.30 lakh and the top-spec Pro version costing Rs 1.43 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. Appearance-wise, the new 450S looks clean and contemporary. Due to its sleek style and sharp lines, it appears futuristic. Additionally, its riding ergonomics are well-designed to provide a comfortable riding experience over long distances.
