Ather Energy is all set for its first launch in the year 2024. The Bengaluru-based EV maker will roll out the brand-new 450 Apex electric scooter on January 6. The firm recently took to its official social media handles to announce the same. This new electrified offering, which is being regarded as the 450 platform's peak, will be the highest-performing model produced by the firm to date. Moreover, the upcoming Apex 450 is touted as the brand's fastest EV, and reservations for it are now being accepted at authorised dealerships. The model will only be available in limited numbers, and customer deliveries are scheduled to commence in March 2024. Notably, the previous teaser revealed a single-piece grab rail, a sleek side profile, and certain components—like the front apron—that were the same as those on the current model.

Based on the firm's 450 range, the Apex will sport various cosmetic variations from the 450X and 450S. On top of that, with the introduction of a new Warp+ riding mode, the Ather 450 Apex is anticipated to be positioned as the fastest and most powerful electric scooter in the Ather portfolio, outperforming the 450X and 450S in terms of power, and is expected to provide owners with an exciting ride. There are currently four available modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp. Warp+ promises an even more thrilling ride. It has also been revealed by the teaser images of the model that it will have transparent side panels, a characteristic not seen on an Ather scooter since the Series 1 450X.
Ather 450 Apex: Expected Specs and Performance
When it comes to the mechanicals, the 450 Apex might feature the same 3.7kWh battery pack as the 450X. However, speculations are rife that it will incorporate a more potent electric motor, exceeding the 8.58bhp power output of the 450X. This upgrade is expected to result in quicker acceleration, especially in the 0-40km/h range. Additionally, the 450 Apex could achieve a higher top speed of 100km/h, compared to the 90km/h top speed of its sibling. Among the modes designed to maximise the performance of the e-scooter, Warp+ may be the most promising one.
Ather 450 Apex: Feature List

Customers will be able to connect to Bluetooth through the screen. It will also come equipped with an iterative user interface (UI) with conveniences like play/pause music, call accept and reject feature, and Google Maps. In addition, functions like side stand sensors, auto hold, park assist, single disc setup at both sides, auto indicator cut-off, and more might be included.
