Aprilia is set to launch the Tuono 457 in India on February 17, 2025. The upcoming streetfighter will offer a more budget-friendly alternative to its fully-faired counterpart, the RS 457, with an anticipated price tag of around or below Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom). For comparison, the RS 457 is currently priced at Rs 4.20 lakh (ex-showroom). As a street-naked derivative of the RS 457, the bike will have key styling changes such as a flat handlebar for a relaxed riding position and a distinctive restyled tail section. Additional features include rear-set footpegs, boomerang-style daytime running lamps, a two-piece seat, and an underbelly exhaust.
In terms of market rivalry, the Tuono 457 will lock horns with the BMW G 310 R, Yamaha MT-03, and KTM 390 Duke.

Aprilia Tuono 457: Engine, Hardware and Features
Like its fully-faired sibling, the Tuono 457 is powered by a 457cc parallel-twin engine that churns out a maximum power output of 47bhp and a peak torque of 43.5Nm. Right now, there is no official confirmation, but industry sources suggest that industry sources indicate that Aprilia could fine-tune the gearing to enhance low-end acceleration. Additionally, the reduced kerb weight is expected to deliver a more thrilling riding experience.
The Tuono 457 has the same suspension setup as the RS 457, a 43mm inverted fork at the front, and a rear monoshock. It uses a 320mm front disc a 220mm rear disc, and a dual-channel ABS for braking.
