Ampere has launched the Magnus Neo electric scooter at Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) ahead of the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Neo variant is available in five striking colour choices (Metallic Red, Glacial White, Ocean Blue, Galactic Grey, and Glossy Black). Design-wise, the Ampere Magnus Neo boasts a sportier, modern design that stands out in the competitive EV market. Its slim, angular side panels paired with a striking, advanced LED headlamp give it a distinct, futuristic look.
The scooter also features a sleek, long, and single-piece seat and an elevated tail section, enhancing its dynamic and stylish silhouette. These design upgrades not only improve its visual appeal but also maintain the practicality and performance that Ampere is known for, making it an attractive option for those seeking both form and function in an electric two-wheeler.
The Magnus Neo has arrived with an exclusive introductory deal, offering affordable financing at a competitive interest rate of just 5.75 per cent/annum. This initiative aims to broaden access to electric mobility. Starting this month, the scooter will be available at Ampere showrooms across the country.
Ampere Magnus Neo: Battery and Charging
The Ampere Magnus Neo packs a high-performance, removable 2.3kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, offering a range of over 100 km on a single charge. It is powered by a hub-mounted electric motor, and has a top speed of 65km/h, ideal for quick city commutes and relaxing weekend rides.

Ampere Magnus Neo: Feature Set, Rivals
The Magnus Neo sports a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear, ensuring a comfortable and smooth ride. Both front and rear are fitted with 12-inch alloy wheels for better balance and control. On the feature front, it boasts an LCD unit, providing access to three riding modes and includes a reverse mode for added utility. Practical touches include a USB port for convenient device charging, a compact storage space integrated into the front apron, and smart connectivity features.
When it comes to market rivalry, the Ampere model faces off against the likes of the Hero Electric Atria and the Ola S1 X.
Ampere Nexus: Key Details
Last year, the brand introduced its first premium electric scooter, the Ampere Nexus. This model is offered in two versions: the EX, which serves as the base variant with a price tag of Rs 1.10 lakh, and the top-tier ST, priced at Rs 1.20 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom.

The Nexus EV is equipped with a 3kWh LFP battery pack, offering a claimed range of 136 km on a single charge. The company states that the battery can be fully recharged in 3 hours and 22 minutes. Powering the rear wheel is a mid-mounted PMS motor, delivering 4.42bhp with a peak output of 5.3bhp. The scooter features four riding modes, a top speed of 93km/h, and can handle gradients of up to 16 degrees.
Key features include a 7-inch TFT touchscreen dashboard integrated with the Nex.IO user interface, 12-inch alloy wheels, and LED lighting. The scooter is available in four striking colour options: Steel Grey, Lunar White, Indian Red, and Zanskar Aqua.
